The Koopa-Zirkus is a location appearing exclusively in the Zur Fernseh-Serie Super Mario Bros. - Spiele und Geschichten story "Die Mario Bros. im Zirkus," appearing as the main setting for the story. Prior to the events of the story, King Koopa had captured Princess Toadstool and Toad, forcing them to act in his circus, with the former being the star and the latter being a clown. During the story, King Koopa has the Princess suspended on a platform held by four ropes; he plans to have the ropes chewed away by four Fryguys, which will cause Princess Toadstool to be dropped into a cauldron full of manure.
However, Mario and Luigi manage to sneak into the circus and ultimately foil this plan, with King Koopa and Mouser falling into the cauldron when they are trapped on the platform afte the Fryguys chew the ropes holding it away.
